Everything SRE
Your data and privacy
You can read the library without an account. Signing in lets you save learning progress. Website analytics is a separate, optional choice.
Accounts and learning progress
When you sign in with Google, we store basic account details, including your name, email address, and profile image, along with your saved lesson and quiz progress. These are stored in our database. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Your theme and analytics preferences are stored in your browser.
Optional Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides people visit and how they engage with the library. Google uses cookies and processes technical information about visits, such as browser and device information. We do not send your account name, email, saved quiz answers, or account ID to Google Analytics. Page URLs exclude query parameters and fragments, and account and sign-in pages are excluded from measurement.
The Google tag stays blocked until you allow analytics. You can decline and continue using the website, or change your choice using Analytics settings in the footer. Declining after previously allowing analytics stops the tag and clears its cookies from this site.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertising personalization is disabled in our analytics configuration.
Questions and deletion requests
For questions about your account, or to request deletion of your account and saved progress, email teams@everythingsre.com from the address you use to sign in.
