About everythingsre
How we write our guides
everythingsre is a growing library for learning site reliability engineering and preparing for SRE interviews. Our goal is to explain how production systems behave and how to investigate when they fail.
Topics we cover
Production debugging, service levels, capacity planning, failure recovery, and incident response. Company guides cover interview structure and preparation; the trading track focuses on latency and market infrastructure.
Worked examples
Examples should explain which signals to inspect, what the evidence tells you, and how to verify a fix. They should also state their assumptions and the limits of the proposed solution.
Updates and editorial review
Each guide shows an update date. Drafts with outstanding verification notes carry an editorial preview label and a notice explaining their status. Sources and contributor details are added alongside the claims they support when those details are available.
Our lesson comics feature Tux, whose original character design was created by Larry Ewing using The GIMP.
